Nan Inc: Lightweight Automation Layer
Streamlined field operations without disrupting existing workflows
The Challenge
Nan Inc needed to connect their existing tools—Verizon Connect, Raken/Excel, QuickBooks/Sage, and SharePoint/Google Drive—without forcing crews to learn new software. They were dealing with manual data entry, delayed reporting, and time-consuming close-out processes.
The Solution
We built a lightweight automation layer that sat on top of their existing stack. The solution included:
- Python/SQL ETL pipeline that pulled GPS traces, timesheets, and photos from existing systems
- Geofencing and exception alerts for automated monitoring
- Automated daily reports generated at 6:00 AM for each job:
- PDF summary reports
- Photo contact sheets
- Invoice-ready CSV files
- Power BI dashboard for utilization and variance tracking
- Complete logging and permissioning for auditability and reproducibility
The Impact
